Dear soul surfers & yogis,
although yoga and surfing come from different cultures, they complement each other perfectly. The daily yoga practice is a good preparation, as well as a post-workout and counterbalance to surfing. Yoga has positive effects on your strength, (inner) balance, flexibility, fitness, breath, concentration and your focus. Flexibility and stretching are also important components of daily movement in general and are specifically practised here.
The 60-minute classes are suitable for all levels and take place from Tuesdays to Sundays at Nimbu Surfhouse (10$ / lesson) in El Transito, Nicaragua, in a nice yoga shala next to the beach. Moreover the classes are accompanied by Handpan music and essential oils.
